Artifacts

The statues on the following pages were bought in Indonesia by myself whilst on a painting trip.I was so taken by the craftsmanship and the peaceful feeling standing next to them I had to bring some back with me.They are entirely carved by hand from a volcanic stone called paras, they are not made of cast concrete.
The nature of the stone is that in no time at all you will have moss and ferns growing on your statue if you have a shady garden, and the mellow colour of the stone helps them stand out enough from the foliage so that they look like they have always been there.
Ive lived with one in my house and everyone who visits says that it changes the feeling in the room, it feels very peaceful. If you want to make a chilled out meditation room or a special spot in your garden they are perfect!

The statues have been priced them very reasonably...Please feel free to Check with other web sites. They are around half the price of comparable statues.
If you want to see the statues please phone me on 01248 811587.

Crug gardens had one in their Chelsea show garden this year and they won first prize.
